PORT PERRY-PRINCE ALBERT
THE 10TH ANNUAL
PORT PERRY HOUSE TOUR
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 22, 2018
10 am - 4 pm
Come to this year's house tour! You will see a variety of homes and gardens in beautiful,
historic Port Perry, Prince Albert and the surrounding area. For this special anniversary, enjoy listening to Joan Bretney, our music director, play our magnificent Keates-Geissler pipe organ for one-half hour at noon and at 1 pm, while you tour the beautiful historic sanctuary of the Port Perry United Church. Also included in your ticket are delicious homemade baked goods and light refreshments provided by our volunteers at the House Tour Cafe in the auditorium of the Port Perry United Church. Fresh homemade jams, jellies and preserves are also available for purchase at very reasonable prices at the House Tour Cafe.
The Port Perry Town and Country House Tour is a charitable event with all proceeds supporting five important local organizations - Joanne's House (formerly Durham Youth Housing and Support Services), Community Care Durham, YWCA's Second Stage Housing for Women, Big Brothers Big Sisters North Durham and North House. Since the inaugural event in 2009, we have contributed over $100,000 to our charities!
Not only will you have a wonderful day seeing amazing architecture, lovely gardens, and inspired decorating, but you will also make a positive impact on children, at-risk youth, women, men, families, and the elderly within our community.
